Corrections Policy — We Want the Receipt

Menu sites go stale. When we get something wrong, the fix is not defensiveness — it's your dated evidence in, our page updated out. This is the public promise.

What Qualifies

We prioritize

  • Incorrect prices / sizes
  • Allergen or gluten mislabels
  • Hours / holiday errors
  • Broken ordering facts
  • Outdated LTO claims presented as current

Harder to act on

  • Taste opinions ("ribeye is mid")
  • Undated verbal quotes
  • Single-store rumors without photos
  • Requests to remove fair criticism

How to Submit

  1. Go to Contact (or Contact Us).
  2. Subject line: Correction — [item] — [city].
  3. Include the URL of the page you think is wrong.
  4. Attach a receipt or menu photo if you have one.
  5. Tell us whether we may cite your city (not your name) in an update note.

Our Side of the Bargain

We verify before rewriting the whole site around one store. If your Dallas receipt conflicts with our Atlanta average, we may widen the range instead of pretending one number rules America. Transparency beats false precision.

Honest caveat: We cannot update every franchise overnight. Sending proof helps; demanding instant national changes without evidence does not. For medical allergen decisions, always confirm with the restaurant — our pages are guides, not clinical clearance.

Corrections FAQ

Email or use the contact form with item name, your city, the price you saw, and the date. A photo of the receipt or menu board gets priority. Start at contact.
Documented price/nutrition errors are usually reviewed within a few business days. Large sitewide menu changes may take longer if we need a second market check.
For material errors (wrong price bands, unsafe allergen advice), we update the page and note the change when it helps readers. Typos may be fixed silently.
Itemized receipts, dated menu photos, or official online order screenshots with location visible. "I think it's cheaper" without proof is harder to act on.
No. We appreciate volunteer corrections. If you represent a brand or PR firm, disclose that — we still verify independently.
See the full methodology page for how prices are verified and how we handle regional variance.
